Anyway

The zoo conference has left me exhausted and tired. sitting down, getting up, talking to poeple, getting worked up about going to Ecuador, sadly rejecting job offers for the summer, staying up late and staying over in Birmingham.
Whirlwinds of crazyness.
Last night I slept at Francesca's house :] We had to go to a dinner/function thing which i was not too impressed with.. PLUS there was BBQ for dinner and lots of people walked aimlessly around.
BUT i did get to go up to the top of the Vulcan!

AND Elvis was there! :] He sang and did his pelvic swivel and soupy singing.
We FINALLY got home to Francesca's and her little Pug, Parker, seemed to take a liking to me. All the whole while i was there, Parker was ALL over me.. giving me kisses, jumping on me, following me.. AND sleeping with me! I felt loved :]

I also met a fun guy from the LA Zoo. He was quite fashionable, the first day i met him, he wore a uber fun Transformer's shit and even sketched out some Transformers for me! :] He was swanky and funky and oh so fun! He made me want to live in California... though i think i may prefer Santa Cruz.

I am also super nervous.excited about Ecuador. I cannot quite believe that i will be leaving a week from tomorrow (Saturday).. wow..

I miss Asheville...

And my summer camp! :) Charlie will come to visit! He won't be blue though.. Some of the old counselors will be there. I am at a better place in my life-mentally, emotionally- so i will be able to jump right in-full throttle, rather than edge in slowly as i did last summer.
