Grafitti Artists and other fun photos...

Kudos go out to those amazing graffiti artists... ^_^

This dude, Kurt Wenner has amazingly detailed street artworks that have a taste of Salvor Daliesque surrealism.

Next up is Edgar Mueller, a world-famous street painter, perhaps best known for The Riverstreet River. At nearly 1000 square feet, this graffiti mural took up an entire city block.

Julian Beever is a sidewalk chalk artist whose work has appeared all across Europe. He is super skilled and loves to add humor to his works, whether it be interacting with the street work itself or simply playing around with his vision of reality.

Oh what a beauty that is... :] Apparently, a radio station in Scotland created that as a way to grab people's attention. Who wouldn't want to grab one of the free air guitars and jam along to the radio's music?


So... ever heard of shopdropping? Its a kind of reverse shoplifting... people place merchandise in the store...
The Droplift Project says, "It involves dropping a disc of your music in the racks of a record store without knowledge of the store's owner or staff."
, "Shopdroppers have their own reasons for doing what they do some are social and political culture jammers who want to raising awareness about consumerism or adding warnings to dangerous products. Others seek to promote their own product, such as an album left in a record store. Still others do it for their own amusement and artistic fulfillment without expectations of any kind of return.
The Free Words Project, is a book which belongs to whoever finds it. The books are placed on the shelves of bookstores and libraries creating an art situation that infiltrates public and commercial space. There is really no story to the Free Words book, but it is a rather interesting concept anyway...
Bansky is one of my favorites.... He doctored 500 copies Paris Hilton's debut album Paris in 48 record shops across the UK. He switched the CDs in store. He took the old ones out and put his version in. He left the original bar code so people could buy the CD without realizing it had been interfered with.
Bansky is also an AMAZING Graffiti artist, centralized in the UK. Seriously folks, he is stinkin amazing. He is mysterious (he has a secret identity and has never been caught), he is an artist (what some people call a subversive graffiti artist), he is a prankster and likes to poke fun AND his stuff has been sold for over half a million dollars a piece!! His work is supposedly controversial, but most people would whole-heartedly agree with his messages...
